The war caught my daughter and me in a village in the Kherson region in my mother's house. We survived 8 months of occupation. My mother died during the shelling, she was trying to save the dog. Our house is destroyed, it is impossible to live there. We were able to leave our village only after the liberation of Kherson. Now we are in Mykolayiv.

At first, we lived with my father in his home, but the front line was near by, there were frequent shelling. My father stayed in his shelled house to help the soldiers.
