To help a particular woman you can buy food for her, donate some money or order a service from her. To do this, leave a message for the project coordinator or use donate button. We do not publish women’s contact information on the website to protect their safety and privacy.
In 2015, I had a wisdom tooth removed, which led to a severe infection (phlegmon) that later developed into chronic osteomyelitis. I now have a Group II disability and need an expensive surgery to have a metal plate implanted. Due to the long-term use of antibiotics and painkillers, I have also developed liver cirrhosis. I am from Toretsk, Donetsk region. I no longer have a home, as everything was destroyed. Together with my 66-year-old mother, who is a pensioner, two cats, and a dog, I relocated and now rent housing in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Almost all of our money goes toward medication, pet food, and rent. I work whenever I can. I used to work as a janitor, and now I earn a small income by posting advertisements, but it is not enough to cover our living expenses. I kindly ask for help and support.
In May, I underwent surgery for cancer (uterine lymphoma) and am now undergoing long-term medical treatment. I live in rented accommodation in Chernihiv, while my own home remains in the settlement of Opytne, Bakhmut district. I was working, but I am currently on sick leave, and the payments I receive are very small. Because all of my money is being spent on treatment and recovery, I am in great need of assistance. The only close family member I have is my mother, a pensioner who is also an internally displaced person and lives separately in another city. Unfortunately, I have no one else to turn to for help.
I am from the village of Novoselivka, near Kramatorsk. Since May 19, our village has been without electricity and water due to constant shelling. We have nowhere to evacuate to and no money to do so. There are five people in our family: myself, my bedridden grandfather, my grandmother who uses a wheelchair, my 20-year-old brother with autism, and my 54-year-old mother. We also help care for three elderly neighbors. I work at the local market and earn a small salary, while our only other income comes from the pensions of my brother, grandmother, and grandfather. We keep a small household and care for several cats and a dog. In addition to the constant shelling, a major problem is that our generator has broken down. It was our only way to pump water and charge devices for both our family and our neighbors. We urgently need help to purchase a new generator and fuel.
The project “Woman for woman” needs funds to cover legal and psychological consultations for women in difficult life circumstances. You can support the project by donating a comfortable amount of money to the Centre “Women’s Perspectives”
For an effective defense against domestic violence, it is important to correctly assess the dangerous situation and the risk of continuing violence.
The test makes it possible to find out whether you can request the police to issue an urgent restraining order.
