I am a single mother of 8 children. One son is mine, and the others are adopted children from an orphanage. We took the first twin together with my husband. Then my husband died. Then our house burned down. I rebuilt the house and took 5 more children into my family. Some of them are already students. Everyone is near me.

I live in Kharkiv. I need surgery for women's health - I have a prolapsed uterus. The doctor gave a referral back in the spring. I don't have the money for it. I have adult children, but they live in the Izyum district, which was badly affected by the war.

I have been living in Donetsk region since 2014, I was born in Donetsk. I lived with my dad. Dad fought during the anti-terrorist operation, and then went to the great war. Dad died in January 2023. No one helps me anymore. I have three children: 3 years old, 1 year old and 1 month old.

I live in Kherson with my granddaughter. This is my adopted daughter's child, both of her parents were killed in a car accident. We lived in a village in Kherson region. Our village is occupied till today. After the dam was blown up, our house flooded up to the 2nd floor. Two weeks later, volunteers took us by boat to Kherson.

I am from Poltava. I have a son, he is 11 years old. My husband, the child's father, was in the war since 2014. He went as a volunteer. In 2022, he went for the second time. He was injured and died in the hospital exactly six months ago. We have not yet received either compensation or social benefits for the child.

The project “Woman for woman” needs funds to cover legal and psychological consultations for women in difficult life circumstances. You can support the project by donating a comfortable amount of money to the Centre “Women’s Perspectives”
