Mia is currently 16 years old. At the age of 7, her mother abandoned her, leaving her with her alcoholic father. When she was 11, her father died, and the girl was taken in by her aunt, but she was later kicked out. The child asked to return to her mother. Her mother leads a reckless lifestyle, with alcohol and men - all in front of the child. Unable to cope, Mia left home and developed anorexia. Currently, the girl is in a shelter and safe. However, unfortunately, she has absolutely no money to start an independent life.

I am a mother of three children. For years, we lived in a household filled with violence — my husband abused me and the children, and he drank heavily. We didn’t have our own home, so he took out a loan for an apartment, while I worked multiple jobs to provide for the family. After the divorce, I found out that the loan hadn’t been paid. As a result, the bank blocked all of my accounts — both my salary and social support. Recently, I suffered a heart attack and several strokes, and part of my body is now paralyzed. I’m currently undergoing rehabilitation and truly hope to return to a full life so I can work again and support my children.

My husband — a tyrant — along with his father, tied my hands behind my back, smothered me with a pillow, and beat me like a football — all in front of our children. I endured this nightmare for many years. Now, I am staying in a Crisis Shelter for mothers and children with my two little kids. I have no home of my own and no money to survive. Due to the trauma I’ve experienced, I am struggling with health issues. I’m asking for help.

I am a single mother raising two children: a 5-year-old son and a 9-month-old daughter. When I became pregnant, my boyfriend started drinking and became physically abusive. Eventually, he disappeared. To survive, I took out a loan, but unfortunately, I still can't repay it. I live on just 860 UAH in child benefits. I can work as a lashmaker from home, but I need supplies, which I can't afford. I’m asking for help.

I have no money at all, not even for food. I have survived severe domestic violence from my husband, was orphaned at an early age, and gave birth to four children. When we divorced, he threw me out of the house and took the children. With no home and only 1,000 UAH in savings, I went abroad to find work. I became ill with ovarian inflammation and now urgently need medical treatment. I am begging for help.

I, along with my children, have suffered from domestic violence. We fled our home after a night of beatings that lasted from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., taking only our documents with us. Currently, my two children — aged 12 and 14 — and I are living in a mother-and-child center. Our stay there is coming to an end, and we must leave the shelter soon. We have no clothes or basic necessities. I don’t know what to do next — I feel completely helpless. I am asking for any kind of help.
