Women in need

I have been battling liver cancer for more than a year, and during this time I have undergone five surgeries. My ovaries were removed, I underwent surgery for blood clots and on my liver, and I also had a heart valve replacement. I am very weak and have been in the hospital for more than nine months. In 2024, I moved from Mariupol to Sambir with my three children, aged 5, 8, and 9. I am currently receiving treatment in Kyiv, while my children are staying with their father. My husband wants a divorce and provides me with no financial support. I desperately want to recover for the sake of my children, so that I can return to them and see them again. I am asking for financial support because I am facing this situation alone and currently have no income.

I have experienced a great deal of violence, beatings, and abuse from my husband. He drank, beat me, stopped going to work, and I had to take out a loan just to survive with my children. I managed to leave my abuser, got divorced, and filed for child support. We were awarded the minimum amount, which he does not pay anyway. I went to court regarding the non-payment and increase of child support, but the case has been dragging on for six months, and there is still no decision. I live with my 13-year-old daughter and survive on my disability pension and UAH 1,800 in child support. At the moment, I urgently lack money for medication and to repay the loan that I am still paying off. Unfortunately, due to my health condition, I cannot work and have a Group II disability.

I am a single mother of two minor children (ages 8 and 12). Because of the war, we lost our home in the combat zone, and we now live in Zaporizhzhia. My younger daughter has a brain injury and developmental disorders. We are currently undergoing examinations at the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv. To begin her treatment, she needs expensive genetic testing to establish an accurate diagnosis. Because I provide constant care for my daughter, I am unable to work full-time. We survive on low-income family benefits and the small jobs I can occasionally find.

I am a mother of three young children: a 4-year-old son and 1.5-year-old twin boys. My husband experienced an acute polymorphic psychotic episode with symptoms of schizophrenia. He underwent hospital treatment and continues to receive ongoing medication. My husband used to work at a boat manufacturing company but was forced to leave his job because it involved operating machinery and equipment that could be dangerous for him and those around him. He has recently registered with the employment center, but for now our family survives on child benefits, while I occasionally earn a small income through seasonal work in the fields. Unfortunately, it is not enough to cover our basic needs. We are in great need of diapers and baby formula for our children.

I am a pensioner, and I care for three seriously ill family members. My daughter has had a disability since childhood due to cerebral palsy (Group A) and is completely immobile, requiring constant full-time care. My husband has a Group II disability, his heart functions at only 20%, and he is in need of a heart transplant. My 89-year-old mother has suffered a recurrence of her illness. She is bedridden and has lost the ability to swallow. Her life depends on specialized enteral nutrition, which I cannot afford to purchase. I kindly ask for your support.

I am living with a nephrostomy (a urinary drainage tube inserted into my kidney) due to complications from cervical cancer. After undergoing radiation therapy and brachytherapy in 2025, I had a nephrostomy placed earlier this year. I am a single mother of two young children: a 4-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son. We are internally displaced from the Luhansk region and currently live in the Dnipropetrovsk region. I have recently been prescribed additional medical examinations, including a CT scan with contrast and an MRI. Unfortunately, the income I receive is not enough to cover these expenses.
