‍

My fingers were broken, my eardrums damaged, and I had constant bruises, stress, and fear. All of this was caused by my own husband, who drank and beat both me and my son. He controlled me financially, while I did everything I could to support our family and even took out a large loan. I managed to escape. Now, I am raising two children on my own: my 13-year-old son and my 2-year-old daughter. My son has asthma and has started experiencing severe headaches—he needs medical treatment. On top of that, my loan debt keeps growing, and I feel completely helpless. I am in despair.

I want to help

My fingers were broken, my eardrums damaged, and I had constant bruises, stress, and fear. All of this was caused by my own husband, who drank and beat both me and my son.

‍

He controlled me financially, mocked me when my hair fell out from stress, hit me in the stomach after childbirth, and yet I did everything I could to support our family, even taking out a large loan.Nothing stopped him—not the police, not the courts, not fines. He continued to humiliate me.

‍

I managed to escape. Now, I am raising two children on my own: my 13-year-old son and my 2-year-old daughter. After being wounded by shrapnel during a rocket attack, my son’s asthma worsened, and he started suffering from severe headaches. He now requires hospitalization every six months. On top of that, my loan debt keeps growing, and I feel completely helpless.

I am in despair.
