I am a mother of two children: a 4-year-old son and a 2-month-old baby girl. We are currently staying in a social apartment due to abuse from my partner, the children’s father, toward me and my son. Legally, I am still married to another man who is a foreign citizen, although our relationship actually ended 5 years ago. Because of this, my newborn daughter is automatically being registered under the foreigner’s surname, while I want her to have mine. While these bureaucratic and legal issues are being resolved, we need financial support and assistance, as I am not receiving any social benefits for the children. I kindly ask for help.
