He locked me in the house, threatened to kill me, to throw me off the balcony, and established total control over my every step. I endured psychological and economic abuse, threats, and persecution. All of this began after our marriage and my move to my husband’s country of residence. He turned out to be a criminal (drug dealing, narcotics, possession of weapons). He was imprisoned, so I was able to escape with our child, born in marriage, to Ukraine. My family home is located near the frontline, so I have nowhere to return, and now I temporarily live with acquaintances. I work, but because of my child’s young age and the war, balancing everything is becoming increasingly difficult. Additionally, problems arise due to the legitimacy of the stay of my child, who is a foreign citizen. My husband’s lawyers are pressuring me, and even while in prison, he does not allow us to live in peace and is doing everything to take the child away from me. Now I am in despair and fear that I will lose my child, while also facing severe financial difficulties.
